Volkswagen has experimented with OTA updates with an “ID. First Movers Club ”, a group of clients who have been granted exclusive access to the program.

The first bit of software updates that will be deployed will be ID. Software 2.3 and will offer new functions and improve the functionality already available. Features of the initial update include:
