Truist and the Braves Development Company Announce New National Headquarters for Truist Securities Inside The Battery Atlanta
CHARLOTTE, NC and ATLANTA, (April 6, 2022) – Truist Financial Corporation (NYSE: TFC) and Braves Development Company today announced that Truist Securities, the full-service corporate and investment bank of Truist, will move its national headquarters to a new Class A building that will will be built at The Battery Atlanta, adjacent to Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves.
The 250,000 square foot building, which will be designed and built to LEED standards, will house approximately 1,000 Truist Securities teammates, feature a state-of-the-art trading floor and be located immediately behind Truist Park, approximately 300 feet from home plate. Truist Securities will occupy approximately half of the building, giving Truist the ability to house other Truist teams and expand its business presence over time. Construction is expected to begin in the second half of 2022 and the building is expected to open in 2024.

Truist, with more than 125 years of presence in Atlanta, entered into a 15-year lease on the building. In addition to establishing a new national headquarters for Truist Securities at The Battery Atlanta, Truist will continue to maintain its strong presence at Truist Plaza in downtown Atlanta and many other locations throughout the metro area.
