The SilverRock Resort development project is renamed “Talus”

The SilverRock Resort development project will now have a new name. The project will now be known as Talus.

Robert Green, president and CEO of SilverRock Development Co., made the announcement at the La Quinta city council meeting on Tuesday.

The Talus project involves the construction of two luxury hotels on the property with more than 300 rooms planned between the two hotels. The hotels should be built on the land which was the original 18th hole.

There were also plans for permanent living options and other amenities.

The project was announced in March 2017, although the project has been ongoing since 2012.

The hotels were originally scheduled to be completed by fall 2019, but this was postponed to 2020 before being postponed again to 2021. A presentation in August 2021 revealed that a hotel is expected to be completed in April 2023, while than the other is expected. to be completed in January 2024.
