NATO Authorizes BlackBerry SecuSUITE for Secure NATO Global Communications
NCI Agency Assessment Grants High-Level Security Certification to BlackBerry SecuSUITE
BRUSSELS, October 24, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — BlackBerry Limited (NYSE: BB; TSX: BB) today announced that the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) granted a security clearance to BlackBerry’s SecuSUITE® for the government for worldwide use in official NATO secure communications.
The NCI agency supports communications and work between NATO member countries. The classified nature of the information handled by the NATO network means that it is essential that all communications remain secure, combating efforts to wiretap conversations. NCI has awarded the SecuSUITE Security Accreditation for High Level Secure Communications, allowing the NATO Global Network to extend SecuSUITE as the solution of choice for performing secure voice and messaging communications.
