So you can update the version of the personalization layer

Updating your device’s MIUI personalization layer to MIUI 13.1 or any other version is a fairly simple process that you can do from mobile settings. If you have some of the listed phones, but did not receive the update, you can check if there is any version available. To do so, follow these steps:

  • Go inside Settings > About Phone > MIUI Version.
  • After clicking on the MIUI version symbol, the system will automatically search for new available versions. If you want to repeat the search, just press ‘Check for updates‘.

Likewise, if you don’t want to wait for the update, you can always turn to third-party tools like MIUI Downloader. In this way, you can try MIUI 13.1 on your device to enjoy your changes and improvements. Of course, always remember to make a backup to protect your data.
