Charlotte-based Madison Capital Group has paid an undisclosed sum for approximately 14 acres to Century Farms in Antioch and is planning a fall start of a residential project for the site.
This will be MCG’s first development in Nashville. The company currently has similar projects under construction in the Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia and Florida.
Madison Century Farms (pictured) will include nine buildings (each three or four stories) with a collective of 266 residences, according to a statement.
Facilities will include a clubhouse with rooftop terrace, club room, fitness center, outdoor lounge with summer kitchen, dog park, resort-style swimming pool and deck with posts of grills and a fireplace.
BenCo Construction, a subsidiary of Madison Capital Group, will serve as the general contractor.
The release does not mention the address of the property, the seller of which was an entity affiliated with Green Hills-based commercial real estate company Oldacre McDonald.
The Davidson County Deed Register had not recorded the transaction at the time of publication. However, and for comparison, an LLC affiliated with Nashville SC co-owner John Ingram recently paid $ 9 million for a 15-acre Century Farms property they are planning a training facility on (read here).
At the same time, TDK Companies, based in Murfreesboro, is working on its Vintage Century Farms mixed-use and multi-building project (find out more here). This development will include two buildings housing 212 residences and 28 office suites.
