Big Data Engineer, CGI Group, Inc.

CGI is looking for a Big Data Engineer to join its team! You are both a generalist, able to understand and work with multiple and disparate systems, and an expert, able to deepen specific subjects and master them quickly.

The successful candidate will evangelize and lead the team in data operations best practices, ensuring the delivery of highly available and scalable systems. They will be able to effectively communicate decisions, ideas, designs and operation of systems and services to others in a clear and concise manner. They will foster collaboration with software product development, architecture and IT teams to ensure that releases are delivered with repeatable and verifiable processes.

The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mathematics or software engineering, as well as 3 years or more in the construction / maintenance of CI / CD pipelines in a corporate environment and 3 years or more working with Big Data Cloud on Azure Synapse. Strong experience in configuring and / or integrating monitoring and logging solutions such as syslog, ELK (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) and Kafka is also important, as is strong skills in UNIX / Linux systems administration , including configuration, troubleshooting and automation.

Senior Web Engineer, Bloomberg

Bloomberg’s Media Connect team is responsible for providing real-time communication solutions for Bloomberg’s professional service. They specialize in the development of applications for voice and video collaboration. They are currently building a cross-platform videoconferencing application having deep integration with the Bloomberg terminal, in particular its chat tool: Instant Bloomberg. This app builds on the open source Jitsi project at its core.

They are looking for motivated software engineers with web development experience, who want to own the product and who can thrive in a team environment. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and advice in the development of full web applications while adhering to best practices, while owning projects and their lifecycle, managing them from concept to shipment. They will collaborate effectively between products, user experience and engineering to deliver real results.

The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience developing full web applications, over 4 years of experience with JavaScript (ES6 +) or TypeScript, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, browser quirks, caching, cookies, and web toolchains.

Customer Success Engineer, Prisma SaaS, Palo Alto Networks

As a Customer Success Engineer, you will be part of a critical capacity to enable secure environments for our customers. You act as the day-to-day technical contact, building relationships with them to ensure appropriate security integrations. This includes adoption guidance, accelerated integrations with new cloud security products, as well as real-time support and strategy. You are a very technical person who understands cloud technologies and the complex world of cloud ecosystems and integrations.

You enjoy solving critical problems in difficult environments. In this role, you will work closely with CISOs, Security Architects, Customer Success Managers, and Development Operations teams within midsize and large enterprises to implement the best cloud security solutions.
